Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 67,034 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Iowa and they represented 2.17% of the total population of Iowa in 2013. Polk County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (18,511), followed by Johnson County (8,401), and Story County (6,777). On the other hand, Ringgold County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (15), followed by Pocahontas County (16), and Fremont County (18).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Jefferson County had the highest percentage (11.07%), followed by Buena Vista County (7.87%), and Story County (7.21%).
