Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 74,683 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Iowa and they represented 2.39% of the total population of Iowa in 2015. Polk County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (20,797), followed by Johnson County (9,216), and Story County (7,731). On the other hand, Ringgold County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (21), followed by Fremont County (22), and Lucas County (23).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Jefferson County had the highest percentage (12.19%), followed by Buena Vista County (8.81%), and Story County (7.99%).
