Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 85,392 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Iowa and they represented 2.67% of the total population of Iowa in 2021. Polk County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (25,379), followed by Johnson County (9,762), and Story County (7,701). On the other hand, Fremont County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (23), followed by Adams County (24), and Monona County (25).
