Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 16,158 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Maine and they represented 1.21% of the total population of Maine in 2016. Cumberland County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (6,639), followed by York County (2,593), and Penobscot County (1,701). On the other hand, Franklin County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (131), followed by Washington County (140), and Piscataquis County (151).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Cumberland County had the highest percentage (2.28%), followed by York County (1.28%), and Hancock County (1.14%).
