Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 346,700 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Maryland and they represented 5.89% of the total population of Maryland in 2012. Montgomery County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (144,925), followed by Howard County (47,072), and Baltimore County (44,615). On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (100), followed by Kent County (178), and Somerset County (192).
