Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 392,619 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Maryland and they represented 6.51% of the total population of Maryland in 2017. Montgomery County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (160,484), followed by Howard County (59,451), and Baltimore County (51,346). On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (115), followed by Somerset County (214), and Kent County (249).
