Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 311,134 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Michigan and they represented 3.13% of the total population of Michigan in 2016. Oakland County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (93,124), followed by Wayne County (58,386), and Washtenaw County (33,679). On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (2), followed by Oscoda County (13), and Schoolcraft County (15).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Washtenaw County had the highest percentage (9.18%), followed by Oakland County (7.44%), and Ingham County (6.74%).
