Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 30,533 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Mississippi and they represented 1.02% of the total population of Mississippi in 2016. Harrison County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,724), followed by Jackson County (3,176), and DeSoto County (2,564). On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (8), followed by Jefferson County (9), and Wilkinson County (11).
