Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 860,274 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in New Jersey and they represented 9.68% of the total population of New Jersey in 2017. Middlesex County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (204,848), followed by Bergen County (153,604), and Hudson County (105,801). On the other hand, Salem County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (600), followed by Cape May County (877), and Cumberland County (1,956).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Middlesex County had the highest percentage (24.77%), followed by Somerset County (18.08%), and Bergen County (16.47%).
