Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 212,205 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in North Carolina and they represented 2.22% of the total population of North Carolina in 2010. Wake County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (49,664), followed by Mecklenburg County (43,078), and Guilford County (19,497). On the other hand, Hyde County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (17), followed by Gates County (17), and Clay County (23).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Orange County had the highest percentage (6.87%), followed by Wake County (5.48%), and Mecklenburg County (4.67%).
