Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 100,950 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Tennessee and they represented 1.56% of the total population of Tennessee in 2012. Shelby County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (22,684), followed by Davidson County (21,222), and Knox County (8,806). On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (4), followed by Clay County (6), and Van Buren County (9).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Williamson County had the highest percentage (3.43%), followed by Davidson County (3.27%), and Rutherford County (3.08%).
