Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 116,435 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Tennessee and they represented 1.75% of the total population of Tennessee in 2016. Davidson County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (24,937), followed by Shelby County (24,369), and Knox County (10,106). On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (2), followed by Hancock County (8), and Clay County (8).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Williamson County had the highest percentage (4.21%), followed by Davidson County (3.63%), and Rutherford County (3.24%).
