Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 24,076 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Alaska and they represented 3.27% of the total population of Alaska in 2014. Anchorage Borough had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (16,070), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (4,464), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (1,053). On the other hand, Bristol Bay Borough had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (0), followed by Skagway Borough (10), and Wrangell City and Borough (11).
