Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 248,350 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Arizona and they represented 3.84% of the total population of Arizona in 2011. Maricopa County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (184,575), followed by Pima County (32,081), and Pinal County (15,962). On the other hand, Greenlee County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (95), followed by Santa Cruz County (112), and La Paz County (142).
