Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 272,372 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Arizona and they represented 4.05% of the total population of Arizona in 2014. Maricopa County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (205,612), followed by Pima County (33,597), and Pinal County (16,827).
