Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 315,746 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Arizona and they represented 4.41% of the total population of Arizona in 2018. Maricopa County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (242,660), followed by Pima County (35,581), and Pinal County (20,247). On the other hand, Greenlee County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (151), followed by La Paz County (179), and Santa Cruz County (184).
