Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 336,427 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Arizona and they represented 4.68% of the total population of Arizona in 2020. Maricopa County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (259,137), followed by Pima County (37,861), and Pinal County (21,713). On the other hand, Greenlee County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (153), followed by La Paz County (162), and Santa Cruz County (216).
