Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 465,601 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Arkansas and they represented 15.46% of the total population of Arkansas in 2018. Pulaski County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (146,208), followed by Jefferson County (38,755), and Crittenden County (26,060).
