Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 199,374 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Colorado and they represented 3.84% of the total population of Colorado in 2012. Denver County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (60,522), followed by Arapahoe County (59,334), and El Paso County (37,934). On the other hand, San Juan County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (0), followed by Jackson County (1), and Mineral County (2).
