Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 215,893 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Colorado and they represented 3.96% of the total population of Colorado in 2015. Arapahoe County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (64,898), followed by Denver County (63,335), and El Paso County (40,445).
