Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 237,898 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Colorado and they represented 4.09% of the total population of Colorado in 2021. Arapahoe County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (70,521), followed by Denver County (64,785), and El Paso County (44,008).
