Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 3,155,744 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Florida and they represented 15.61% of the total population of Florida in 2015. Broward County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (524,219), followed by Miami-Dade County (438,457), and Duval County (267,197). On the other hand, Gilchrist County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (944), followed by Holmes County (1,223), and Lafayette County (1,254).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Gadsden County had the highest percentage (55.64%), followed by Madison County (38.52%), and Jefferson County (34.8%).
