Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 3,158,075 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Georgia and they represented 31.01% of the total population of Georgia in 2015. Fulton County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (440,605), followed by DeKalb County (397,870), and Gwinnett County (231,726). On the other hand, Towns County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (96), followed by Union County (138), and Gilmer County (138).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Hancock County had the highest percentage (72.21%), followed by Dougherty County (68.92%), and Clayton County (68.32%).
