Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 312,344 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Minnesota and they represented 5.73% of the total population of Minnesota in 2014. Hennepin County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (151,030), followed by Ramsey County (60,454), and Dakota County (22,276). On the other hand, Lake of the Woods County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (11), followed by Lincoln County (13), and Traverse County (14).
