Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 312,344 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Minnesota and they represented 5.73% of the total population of Minnesota in 2014. Hennepin County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (151,030), followed by Ramsey County (60,454), and Dakota County (22,276).
