Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 292,053 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 9.37% of the total population of Nevada in 2020. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (274,065), followed by Washoe County (11,565), and Nye County (1,819). On the other hand, Eureka County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (28), followed by Esmeralda County (28), and Lander County (46).
