Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 295,377 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 9.48% of the total population of Nevada in 2020. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (277,321), followed by Washoe County (11,568), and Nye County (1,841). On the other hand, Esmeralda County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (27), followed by Eureka County (28), and Lander County (49).
