Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 316,102 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 9.90% of the total population of Nevada in 2023. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (296,586), followed by Washoe County (12,693), and Nye County (2,162). On the other hand, Eureka County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (28), followed by Esmeralda County (29), and Lander County (49).
