Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (289,325), followed by Wake County (189,822), and Guilford County (161,184). On the other hand, Graham County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (17), followed by Mitchell County (61), and Clay County (82).
