Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 273,866 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Oklahoma and they represented 7.28% of the total population of Oklahoma in 2010. Oklahoma County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (109,688), followed by Tulsa County (64,099), and Comanche County (21,022). On the other hand, Harper County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (2), followed by Cimarron County (6), and Ellis County (11).
