Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 290,303 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Oklahoma and they represented 7.36% of the total population of Oklahoma in 2018. Oklahoma County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (120,444), followed by Tulsa County (66,890), and Comanche County (19,613). On the other hand, Harper County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (7), followed by Cimarron County (13), and Ellis County (26).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Comanche County had the highest percentage (16.21%), followed by Oklahoma County (15.23%), and Osage County (11.15%).
