Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 298,282 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Oklahoma and they represented 7.47% of the total population of Oklahoma in 2021. Oklahoma County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (121,729), followed by Tulsa County (69,755), and Comanche County (19,249).
