Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 1,335,216 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.50% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2010. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (647,054), followed by Allegheny County (160,813), and Delaware County (108,853). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (13), followed by Potter County (60), and Elk County (89).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (42.34%), followed by Delaware County (19.47%), and Forest County (17.89%).
