Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 1,360,527 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.65% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2013. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (653,084), followed by Allegheny County (162,268), and Delaware County (114,168). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (21), followed by Potter County (66), and Elk County (113).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (41.9%), followed by Delaware County (20.33%), and Forest County (18.44%).
