Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 1,366,208 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.68% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2014. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (652,838), followed by Allegheny County (162,025), and Delaware County (115,762). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (27), followed by Potter County (67), and Elk County (122).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (41.69%), followed by Delaware County (20.57%), and Forest County (18.88%).
