Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 1,370,234 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.71% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2015. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (652,833), followed by Allegheny County (161,684), and Delaware County (116,753). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (32), followed by Potter County (73), and Elk County (119).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (41.54%), followed by Delaware County (20.72%), and Forest County (19.44%).
