Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 1,375,298 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.75% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2016. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (651,053), followed by Allegheny County (161,743), and Delaware County (118,266). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (32), followed by Potter County (78), and Elk County (121).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (41.3%), followed by Delaware County (20.97%), and Forest County (19.65%).
