Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, there were 1,390,079 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.86% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2019. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (641,421), followed by Allegheny County (160,252), and Delaware County (124,243). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (31), followed by Potter County (89), and Elk County (137).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (40.48%), followed by Delaware County (21.93%), and Forest County (19.43%).
