Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 1,409,558 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.85% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2020. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (641,056), followed by Allegheny County (164,623), and Delaware County (128,067). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (28), followed by Potter County (82), and Sullivan County (106).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (40.05%), followed by Forest County (22.92%), and Delaware County (22.22%).
