Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 232,711 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Washington and they represented 3.45% of the total population of Washington in 2010. King County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (118,128), followed by Pierce County (51,784), and Snohomish County (17,632). On the other hand, Garfield County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (0), followed by Wahkiakum County (8), and Columbia County (12).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Pierce County had the highest percentage (6.51%), followed by King County (6.09%), and Thurston County (2.58%).
