Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 253,150 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Washington and they represented 3.63% of the total population of Washington in 2013. King County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (128,307), followed by Pierce County (55,034), and Snohomish County (20,399). On the other hand, Garfield County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (2), followed by Wahkiakum County (11), and Columbia County (19).
