Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 266,221 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Washington and they represented 3.71% of the total population of Washington in 2015. King County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (134,446), followed by Pierce County (57,139), and Snohomish County (22,488). On the other hand, Garfield County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (2), followed by Wahkiakum County (13), and Columbia County (23).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Pierce County had the highest percentage (6.77%), followed by King County (6.32%), and Thurston County (2.98%).
