Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 369,712 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Wisconsin and they represented 6.38% of the total population of Wisconsin in 2017. Milwaukee County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (250,558), followed by Dane County (28,066), and Racine County (22,012). On the other hand, Iron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (8), followed by Florence County (16), and Pepin County (28).
