Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 369,303 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Wisconsin and they represented 6.28% of the total population of Wisconsin in 2021. Milwaukee County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (241,600), followed by Dane County (30,387), and Racine County (21,460). On the other hand, Iron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (18), followed by Florence County (22), and Pepin County (30).
