Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 370,554 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Wisconsin and they represented 6.27% of the total population of Wisconsin in 2023. Milwaukee County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (236,932), followed by Dane County (32,135), and Racine County (21,440). On the other hand, Iron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (21), followed by Florence County (28), and Pepin County (33).
