Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 4,709 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Wyoming and they represented 0.83% of the total population of Wyoming in 2011. Laramie County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (1,975), followed by Natrona County (701), and Sweetwater County (452). On the other hand, Niobrara County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (9), followed by Hot Springs County (15), and Crook County (19).
