Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 6,204 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Wyoming and they represented 1.07% of the total population of Wyoming in 2017. Laramie County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (2,350), followed by Natrona County (846), and Albany County (567). On the other hand, Niobrara County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (21), followed by Hot Springs County (32), and Washakie County (37).
