Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 522,924 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander alone in the United States and they represented 0.17% of the total US population in 2012.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Native Hawaiian And Pacific Islander alone population (136,836), followed by Hawaii (134,536), and Washington (41,702).
