Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 14,857,661 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in California and they represented 38.19% of the total population of California in 2015. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,698,481), followed by San Diego County (1,524,543), and Orange County (1,312,580). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (720), followed by Sierra County (2,549), and Modoc County (7,061).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Nevada County had the highest percentage (85.82%), followed by Sierra County (85.25%), and Plumas County (84.32%).
