Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 14,539,147 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in California and they represented 36.87% of the total population of California in 2018. Los Angeles County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,640,036), followed by San Diego County (1,507,554), and Orange County (1,275,891). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (686), followed by Sierra County (2,454), and Modoc County (6,830).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Nevada County had the highest percentage (85.13%), followed by Plumas County (83.33%), and Sierra County (82.88%).
