Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 8,179,521 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 63.70% of the total population of Illinois in 2010. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,284,423), followed by DuPage County (647,018), and Lake County (459,645). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,919), followed by Pope County (4,067), and Hardin County (4,167).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Calhoun County had the highest percentage (98.31%), followed by Jasper County (98.1%), and Shelby County (98.05%).
