Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 7,980,011 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 62.06% of the total population of Illinois in 2015. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,245,903), followed by DuPage County (633,939), and Will County (446,068). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,608), followed by Hardin County (3,883), and Pope County (3,899).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Calhoun County had the highest percentage (97.8%), followed by Shelby County (97.44%), and Edgar County (97.25%).
